"Talking about music is like dancing about architecture."
(but we'll give it a shot...)

The music of ValtraxysBlue takes some describing... because it's not like anything else you may have heard. It has elements of trance and techno, and a bit of ambient, but that only describes some of the canvas and colors used... the finished sound goes a lot further, and might be best described as 'mystical'. Perhaps, the best way to experience the music is to breathe it as an atmosphere.

One difference between the pieces by ValtraxysBlue and other electronica is that it goes somewhere. Sure, it's true his multi-faceted stylings are equally good for dancing, reading, or just plain listening, but (unlike a lot of electronic music these days) they're never bland. I've often said that Bart's stuff reminds me of some of the better, more progressive film scores, because it is so evocative.

One reason that it is so hard to articulate what his music is like is, as anyone who knows Bart can tell you, everything he's ever seen or read or heard or felt has stuck, just like a little splinter, in his brain.

Hopefully, a tiny taste of the music samples will whet your appetite to purchase the higher quality music for yourself. Hey, if you don't like the CD, think of it as a fancy drink coaster. But I'll bet the music will end up as a 'neat little splinter' in your brain too.
